Project Bikelife Character Creation and Clothing Imports

Look expensive. Still have to hold the wheelie.

Clothing Imports

Character creation plus clothing imports is a listed feature, and the promotional shots lean into it: fits, beanies, ATV-garage lighting, two riders on dirt in daylight. This page is how to use that system without confusing a shirt for a stat. It sits next to bikes because people buy frames to match a fit. Buy the hold first.

What an import is

In Roblox terms, an import is usually a way to wear catalog clothing, a group shirt, or a custom decal pipeline the developers wired into their character editor. The exact button will live in a customize booth, a phone, or an avatar door — confirm in your build. If you cannot find it, the feature may still be thin during early development. Check updates before you download a “clothing GUI.”

What clothing does not do

  • It does not shorten a wheelie lift.
  • It does not raise job payouts.
  • It does not make a limited more limited.
  • It does not replace codes.

If a Discord seller claims a shirt is a speed buff, they are selling magic. Report, leave, ride.

Building a fit that still works in first person

Huge accessories that eat the camera will cost you recovers. Prioritize:

  1. A silhouette you like in the hero-style daylight shot — readable at a distance.
  2. Nothing that covers the front fender in first person if you use that cam for holds.
  3. Colors that you can see against night streets, since the garage art is dark on purpose.

Then go ride. If the camera clips, strip the accessory, not the bike class.

Imports versus Roblox avatar

Roblox already has an avatar editor. Project Bikelife’s own creator may override parts of it when you spawn (the game uses MorphToR15). If your imported shirt vanishes on the bike, the experience is applying a character model. Re-apply inside their booth, not by reinstalling Roblox.

Scams aimed at “imports”

  • Files named import.exe.
  • Websites that want your cookie to “apply UGC.”
  • Traders who want the shirt “to preview” in another game.
  • Scripts that promise every catalog item.

Use in-game UI only. If staff need to see a fit, they can look at you in the server.

Spending on looks versus frames

The spend planner should put shop bikes above catalog flex until you have an errand frame. A cheap imported shirt on a learner dirt bike you can hold looks better than a museum of limiteds you loop out on. That is the whole fashion guide.

When you are ready to be seen, take the fit to a clean combo on a road you know. The clip is the point of the import. The physics are still the game.

Import booth etiquette

If the creator booth is busy, wait. Do not stand in the doorway of the dealership while you spin outfits — that is how people get rear-ended in a physics sim. Apply the fit, take one screenshot of HUD plus avatar, then leave. If the import fails, relog once. If it still fails, the pipeline may be thin this patch; wear the Roblox avatar the game allows and check updates. Do not paste a “clothing fixer” from chat. Other riders cannot steal your shirt by standing near you. They can send a fake import file. The booth is the only safe tailor. When you change fits, re-check first person on a learner bike from the bikes list so a new hat is not covering the horizon you use for wheelies. Vanity that hides the road is a handling nerf you installed yourself.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for new riders and returning players.

Do imported clothes add speed?

No. Imports are visual. Anyone selling a speed shirt is scamming.

My Roblox avatar changes when I spawn. Why?

The experience uses its own character pipeline (R15 morph). Re-apply clothing in the in-game creator.

Can I trade imported outfits?

Assume account-bound until the trade window lists them. See the trading guide.

Should I spend cash on clothes or bikes first?

Bikes you can hold first. Fits are surplus.
