Project Bikelife Limited Bike Tier List

Scarcity is a flex rank, not a physics rank.

Limited Bike Tiers

Limited bikes are the reason a lot of riders open this wiki. The official feature list calls them out next to trading and clothing imports, and the night-garage key art shows a staged flex shot for a reason. This page ranks limiteds as a class inside the tier list. Individual drop names will churn during early development. The mistakes will not.

If you want the collectible catalog rather than ranks, use limited bikes. If you want to move one, use trading. If you still cannot hold a wheelie, close this tab and open how to wheelie.

Four limited ranks

Flex S. Easy to photograph, hard to replace, actually owned by people who can ride. These are the pieces you park at a meetup, not the pieces you learn on.

Trade A. Liquid enough that a fair trade finds a partner the same night. Liquidity beats paint.

Hold B. Surprisingly rideable scarce bikes. Rare in physics games, but if a limited passes the same five-count test as a dealership learner, it earns this rank. Do not assume yours did.

Trap D. Ugly combination of high price, low hold, and no buyers. You bought a screenshot.

Notice there is no “fastest limited = S.” Speed without recovery is how you donate the frame to a reset button.

When a limited is worth cash

Buy or trade for a limited only if all of these are true:

  1. You already own a shop bike you can hold.
  2. The cash is surplus after the buffer in the spend planner.
  3. You can explain the flex (event, date, or look) in one sentence.
  4. You have a screenshot of your HUD ownership, not someone else’s clip.
  5. You accept that a physics patch might make it worse to ride.

If any line fails, the limited is a Trap D for you even if it is Flex S for a clip channel.

Drop timing versus FOMO

Early-access stories for this game mentioned paid entry (25 Robux, later higher on some Medal pages) before the listing went free. That history creates FOMO: “I missed the real limiteds.” Maybe. Maybe the next drop is better. The full release notes and group wall are the schedule, not a panic buy in chat.

When a drop is live:

  • Confirm you are on the official place.
  • Confirm the group if the drop is member-gated.
  • Do not run a “limited sniper script.” See fake scripts.
  • If you miss it, ride jobs and wait. Scarcity that requires an injector is not scarcity you want.

Trading value is not ride value

A limited can be Trade A and Control F at the same time. Score both. Riders who only track trade value end up with a garage they cannot take to a job without crashing. Riders who only track control never understand why a “worse” bike costs more. The bikes hub keeps those columns separate on purpose.

How limiteds interact with clothing imports

Clothing imports change the rider, not the frame rank. A imported fit on a Trap D limited is still a Trap D limited. Do not let a fit argument override the lot test.

Practical order

  1. Learner shop bike.
  2. Errand shop bike.
  3. One limited you can explain.
  4. Stop collecting until you can combo on the errand bike.

That order survives a wipe, a retune, and a friend who insists you “need” the new drop tonight.

Limiteds are the billboard. The dealership is the road. Rank them that way and the tier list stays honest while the catalog grows.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for new riders and returning players.

Is every limited better than shop bikes?

No. Limiteds rank on flex and trade. Shop bikes usually win on learning and jobs.

Should I skip jobs to save for a limited?

Keep a shop bike you can hold. A limited you cannot ride does not earn the next one.

How do I know a drop is official?

Launch from the official place and watch the group. Third-party “sniper” menus are fake listings.

Can a physics patch ruin my limited?

Yes. Early development retunes happen. Buy surplus cash, not your only platform.
